Last Sunday, we welcomed 24 people to our sanctuary (with 26 devices watching on YouTube Live). Many thanks to the Peaks Sub-district New Ministries Council for the $1000 grant to purchase our new video streaming platform (SlingStudio)! And thanks to Regis Schoedel for filming, and our new Office Manager Ali Hillman for running the slides and stream. Everyone wears a face covering and we are 6+ feet apart. Sure, it is odd and we miss some things (like warm hugs and handshakes). But for many, it feels oddly like coming home - and we even offered Communion! If you are over age 65 or have a compromised immune system, we encourage you to remain safer at home. But if you are ready to join us - we welcome you to the Quiet Center of our faith found in Psalm 46 this Sunday at 10:30AM. We are in week 2 of a 10-week series called Pray Every Day which uses prayer beads.

Pray Every Day with us
If you did not receive your prayer beads (at worship, Bible study or in a porch visit), please click the photo to notify Pastor Emily. Debbie Bates (with help from her daughters and granddaughters) was kind to create one set of these beautiful, unique beads for each household - thanks, Debbie! If anyone would like to order more for themselves or as gifts, cost is $5. They can be special-ordered with a bracelet or magnetic clasp by contacting Debbie directly. Or stop by the church office any Tuesday-Friday 10AM-3PM (checks to FUMC Windsor, note "prayer beads") and choose one.
Our July Mission Focus
Thank you for your ongoing generosity to God and this church! Please consider setting up an automated online gift, mailing in a check, or making a special offering this month to the Pastor's Discretionary Fund, our July Mission Focus. Rev. Emily receives many confidential requests for help, and the pandemic is increasing the needs in our church and community. If God moves you to help us help others, give online or by check to FUMC Windsor, note: Pastor’s Fund. Thank you!
Donate an old phone!
Do you have an old smartphone (with Wifi and camera) lying around? Please consider a donation to the church! We are currently using our personal devices to run the new live-streaming video system, and would love to save $$ on 2-3 cellphones. An older laptop with camera (to run Zoom for meetings and Bible studies) would also be welcome!
Mark your calendars
Our next donation drive for the Windsor/Severance Food Pantry is Thursday July 23 from9-11AM. Cathy and Rodger Bell will have their trunk open in front of the church.
