On the heels of a joyful Easter weekend, we are exciting to invite you to continue dancing with us through the Easter season. This Sunday we welcome guest preacher Pastor John Angermayr as Pastor Emily takes a bit of time off. John will be looking into the Great Power of Doubt and Faith as we follow the lead of the Disciple called Thomas (Doubting Thomas). We are excited to welcome Connie Hill back to the Grand Piano (along with Marilyn Shouse on organ), and we will be singing Rock of Ages, Cleft for Me and He Touched Me. Check out photos below ofrom our sunrise Easter service with 5 churches and 165 people at Lake Windsor. Plan to join us next year!

Monthly Mission Focus: Gideons International
Gideons partners with our church to enable the spreading of the Gospel worldwide. Despite the struggles of Covid-19, in 2020 they distributed 66 million Bibles in 200 countries and 104 languages. This included Northern Colorado (hotel/motel Bibles, hospitals, doctor's’ offices, first responders, jails, middle schools, high schools, and CSU, NCU, Front Range, and UW). Your financial donations allow us to help Gideons here and abroad. Be sure to mark your donation “Missions/Gideons.” Greeting Cards are another means of support; cards are available for purchase in Fellowship Hall.

Eastman Park River Experience to Open May 14th
The construction on Windsor's most unique river experience is almost complete and right in time for the summer. This new outdoor adventure spot is located off of Eastman Park Drive, and 7th Street on the Cache la Poudre and is devoted to kayaking, canoeing, and tubing! Join in on the launch of this new spot on May 14th at 4:00 P.M. as the first of many tubes and kayaks are launched into the river.
The Mountain Sky Conference is offering great virtual educational opportunities:
  • Annual District Gatherings: The theme is “Where Love Lives,” from the Western Jurisdiction theme. Our Peaks/Pikes Peak District meets on Zoom Saturday, April 17th from 9-11AM. Each district hosts its own Zoom meeting, Bishop Karen shares a message and Communion, and keynote speaker Rev. Amanda Henderson, author of Holy Chaos: Creating Connections in Divisive Times, offers teaching moments with breakout rooms. Henderson recently partnered with Iliff School of Theology to create the Institute for Religion, Politics & Culture as a place for scholarship and research about the way legislative initiatives are shaped by religion. Please register here (PPP District) by April 9th. We will also elect Equalization Members for this fall's Annual Conference, and present Quiet Disciple Awards.
  • New Anti-Racism Allyship Group: First UMC Loveland welcomes all Northern Colorado churches to engage in personal growth and advocacy in order to work for change in ourselves and the community. Weekly Zoom meetings begin Wednesday, April 21st at 6:30PM. Advocacy work includes support for community organizations, sponsoring educational events at your church, and more. Join Pastor Emily, or learn more by calling organizer Rev. Lee Anderson-Harris (970) 667-0876 or emailing her.
